Anyone know how to deal with sticky, gummy coat on a chow's back?  I only do 3 chows - all from the same owner and all of them have this gunk on their back that I have tried scrubbing with my deepest cleaning shampoo.  Also tried using a vinegar rinse but it still comes out sticky and gummy and gross.  Any thoughts on this?  Suggestions?  The owner insists it's normal for chows...but I don't believe him.  :)

IF it's the "Normal" stuff some chows get, then I would try a Chlorhexidrene Shampoo on it. It should strip the stuff right off. If it's NOT the normal stuff, then I'm going to guess all three Chows like lounging under either Farm Equipment or Vehicles.
